Dear DACTI Office,

As the end of our year approaches, it is a time to take stock of what we have all achieved, what we have left to achieve and our hopes for the year to come.

We have finalised the most essential legal requirements for the new mandate, Council members have begun to represent FIT and FIT views at events and conferences, and all of FIT’s Standing Committees and Task Forces (SCTFs) have been convened and are looking forward to starting work in the new year. We are grateful to all our members for nominating such a large number of experts to join our Committees, and were pleased to see so many nominations. Thank you all for your great dedication, enthusiasm and support.

It’s been a particularly busy last half of the year, and we hope you are able to enjoy a few relaxing days over the festive season with your families and loved ones. It would be remiss of us not to acknowledge that this has also been a difficult year for many. Our thoughts are with all those who are going through troublesome times, and we hope that peace will prevail in 2023.

On behalf of all FIT Council members, we send our warmest Season’s Greetings,

Alison Rodriguez
FIT President
Alexandra Jantscher-Karlhuber
FIT Secretary General
